Broken Halos Haven Fundraising Event

featuring Corey Kent

The event is over, but we still need your support!

Click HERE to donate to The Haven Fundraising Campaign.

Join us for an evening of storytelling, music, entertainment, food and fun!

Natalie Reid-Knutson will kick off the evening with her one-woman show, How to Live a Great Story; followed by Corey Kent where he’ll perform his chart-topping, platinum song, Wild As Her, newly released single, Man of the House and more. ***Watch this recent interview at the CMT Awards where he was nominated for “Breakthrough Male Video of the Year.”

Afterwards, the vision for “The Haven” will be cast where you’ll have the opportunity to help us reach our goal of $250,000 to build a facility in Old Town Lewisville specifically designed to serve grieving young widows and their kids in Denton County.

Following the event at The Grand, attendees are invited to walk two blocks north to tour Broken Halos Haven, enjoy adult beverages, food provided by Sip + Savor, desserts from Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop and outdoor entertainment by Vigil.

Popular broadcast veteran and radio personality, George Dunham from 1310 The Ticket will be the emcee for the night.

We’ll also have a silent auction and shopping opportunities prior to the performances with 100% of proceeds going towards our goal.

What you should wear:

Be comfortable, yet classy. We think “dressy/smart casual” is a good way to go.

Where you should park:

The Grand has approximately 200 free parking spaces conveniently located within walking distance of the facility. We suggest parking in the public lot on the NE corner of Church and Charles because it’s nearest to Broken Halos Haven.

“The Haven” will be a place where children who have experienced the death of a parent can receive emotional and practical support through programs and events specially designed to help them move through their grief journey.
